Objectives
nThe 4x objective is often called the scanner, because it gives a wide, low magnification view of the slide. Note that it is the shortest of the three.
nThe 10x objective is called the ‘low power’ objective.
nThe 40x objective is called the ‘high power’ objective. Note that it is the longest of the three.
nYou will see an empty space for a fourth objective. This takes a 100x lens. In this unit we do not use the fourth lens.
